According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Arak Municipality, this morning, Tuesday, the ninth of Dey, a report was received by the Arak Fire Department command center about a rock pigeon’s foot getting caught in the facade of a building on Qaem-Maqam Street. Immediately, operational نیروها were dispatched to the scene. The firefighter sent from Station No. 6 on Mohseni Street explained the details of this operation: after arriving at the scene, it was observed that the pigeon’s foot was stuck in parts of the building facade and the bird was severely frightened and unable to move. Given the height of the location and the bird’s condition, the rescue operation began with great care and sensitivity. Using a ladder and fully observing safety precautions, the firefighters reached the position and, by calming the bird, freed the pigeon’s foot from the trapped area without causing even the slightest injury. Fortunately, after being released, the pigeon regained its life and took flight in safe conditions. Saving the lives of living creatures is part of the human and professional duty of firefighters, and this operation was carried out with that same perspective.
