According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of the Arak Metropolitan Municipality, with the aim of increasing safety and improving traffic conditions, corrective operations were carried out at various points in the city.
These measures included median installation, pedestrian crosswalk marking, and speed bump painting on Mirza Shirazi Boulevard (opposite Amir Kabir Park). Also, by installing 43 bollards, one pedestrian sign, and one traffic barrel, the route was made safer.
At Shariati Square (opposite Karafarin Bank), 5 bollards were also reinstalled and made visible with reflective stickers, and a route-direction sign was placed in this area. Finally, by reinstalling a chevron sign at the entrance to the industrial city, another step was taken toward traffic guidance and accident prevention.
