According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of the Arak metropolitan municipality, this morning, Sunday, May 24, 2026, Dr. Alireza Mahmoudi, Mayor of Arak, attended the Hepco industrial complex and took part in a ceremony held to mark the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Ayatollah Raisi and the service martyrs, as well as to commemorate the epic of the third of Khordad, the anniversary of Khorramshahr's liberation. Dr. Mahmoudi, on the sidelines of the ceremony, while congratulating Resistance and Victory Day, described the coincidence of the anniversary of Khorramshahr's liberation with the days of the martyrdom of the service martyrs as a symbol of the inseparable bond between self-sacrifice and sincere service, and stated: Dear martyr Raisi, by taking inspiration from the school of the Khorramshahr martyrs, showed that the path of serving the people cannot be shut down, and today our duty in urban management is to continue that same jihadist spirit on the path of developing Islamic Iran.
